IVETA PARRAVANI
Iveta has over 12 years experience in the corporate world of media and broadcasting, at companies including Discovery, Sky, and NBC Universal. She knows all about the pressures of working in a demanding, target-led environment and how mental health issues can be overlooked in the workplace.
Iveta went on to found Debesmanna in 2013, the only charity in Latvia to provide free support and information to new parents and families who experience difficulties in the perinatal period, before beginning her training in counselling, psychotherapy and Mental Health First Aid.

SARA PEARLMAN
Sara is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years NHS experience and over 12 years in CAMHS settings, bringing a wealth of knowledge and information to the MHFA Youth training course.

She specialises in working with young people with a range of mental health problems including anxiety disorders, depression, family and social interaction difficulties. She also works at a charity for young people with emotional difficulties and provides input for a special school.

SALLY DESBOROUGH
Sally has been working in Human Resources, mostly in the corporate world, for over ten years.
​
Her interest in mental health stems from her own experience over the years and she continues to be mindful of her down days or wobbles and accepts those as they are. She has also been a part of people's support network - whether friends or colleagues at work - when they are living with mental illness.

ANNE BECKETT-ALLEN
Anne qualified as a Funeral Director at an early age and has come across many aspects of mental health in relation to death and bereavement. She has been instrumental in providing appropriate support for bereaved families, helping to set up bereavement support groups in Norfolk and Suffolk.
​
In 2018, Anne became an Accredited Instructor in Mental Health First Aid for Adults as she is passionate about mental health in the workplace and staff wellbeing. As an employer of 50 members of staff she understands first-hand the importance of wellbeing in the workplace and this has developed into a passion to share the knowledge and inspire others both within the funeral profession and the wider community.
